🗞️ The Latest in AI: OpenAI files trademark application for GPT-5
OpenAI recently filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for GPT-5. The model will be the successor to GPT-4, OpenAI’s current leading model.
The application covers a wide range of innovative language model applications such as:
Artificial production of human speech and text
Audio to text conversion
Voice and speech recognition
Machine-learning based language and speech processing
Translation of text and speech from one language to another
Creating and generating text
Developing and implementing artificial neural networks
GPT-5 is also expected to feature personalized responses, an expanded knowledge base, reduced hallucination, enhanced language understanding and more.
OpenAI’s trademark indicates that audio input and generation is the next major step for large language models. There’s currently no expected release date for GPT-5, although some reports suggest that its training will be complete by December.
🤖 AI Tool of the Day: Generate websites from text prompts with Framer
Framer generates website pages from individual text prompts. Each page is fully customizable and can be published right from Framer. This tool probably won’t create a perfect website right off the bat, but it’s a good place to get the ball rolling if you’re looking to design your own site.
