🗞️ The Latest in AI: Opporture introduces Moder8 — a game-changer for businesses building AI models
Opporture, a leading specialist in AI enabling services, announced the launch of Moder8 yesterday. Designed for companies that are building AI models, the invitation-only platform is a revolutionary tool that seamlessly connects to clients’ cloud infrastructure.
Opporture already provides AI model training services to clients across the U.S., helping businesses build their own AI platforms. Moder8 will streamline this process by efficiently processing data and returning results to a client’s cloud.

“With our platform, companies no longer need to invest time and resources in building their own [machine learning and management systems]. We handle the infrastructure, security, and reliability, allowing our clients to focus on what matters most to their business: achieving results,” Opporture Chairman and CEO Pratap Chowdary Potakamuri said.
Moder8 displayed high levels of performance during testing. It is capable of managing essential tasks such as custom data labeling, content moderation, content tagging and annotation.

📸 Business Spotlight: AI-generated music could be eligible for the next Grammy awards
A new rule instituted by the Recording Academy makes AI music eligible to win a Grammy, but only if the music has a “significant element of human authorship.” This change arrives in the middle of an explosive public debate about the integration of AI technology into music.
AI-generated tracks are disrupting the music industry by mimicking the style and voice of famous artists. “Heart on My Sleeve,” a synthetic collaboration between Drake and The Weeknd, has been streamed millions of times since it was created by a TikTok user in April. Paul McCartney also recently said that he used AI to create a final song from the Beatles.
Much like the ongoing writer’s strike in the film industry, critics of AI-generated music raise concerns over copyright issues and moral conflicts. If implemented correctly, AI could revolutionize musical creativity and push the boundaries of the industry. This update to the Grammys rule book seems to acknowledge these potential benefits of AI in music.
